Job description

Electro-Mech Assembly / Test Operative

Location: Maidenhead

Rate: Up to 20 per hour

Contract: Long term

Candidate Requirements:

Must be a British passport holder, with no previous criminal convictions, and have held SC clearance previously.

Role Overview:

As a Production Test Engineer, you will:

1. Test and fault find to component level, including environmental testing.
2. Work with the test team on a variety of products at PCB, Sub Assembly, General Assembly, and System Levels.
3. Conduct testing and record results accurately, ensuring products meet schedule parameters prior to delivery.
4. Assist in resolving technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in testing complex RF and digital PCB modules and microprocessor-based equipment, preferably in military/defence environments.
• Proficiency in using both bench and automated test equipment.
• Qualified to at least OND/ONC standard in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical discussions.
• Computer literate.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
