Why this role matters

At Brook Green Supply, we’re an independent B2B energy supplier providing risk management and energy supply solutions to the UK’s Industrial & Commercial (I&C) sector. We’re reshaping how businesses approach energy procurement through expertise, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.

We’re looking for an Electricity Settlements Analyst to join our Billing & Settlements team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate collection, validation, and settlement of electricity consumption data, while developing a strong understanding of the operational and regulatory frameworks that underpin the UK energy market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career, whether you’re a graduate or have existing experience in the energy industry, to build technical expertise and grow within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Half Hourly (HH) and Non-Half Hourly (NHH) settlement activities, ensuring Elexon performance targets are achieved.
  • Support the validation, management, and analysis of consumption and metering data across our electricity portfolio.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (such as data collectors, agents, and suppliers) on meter faults, upgrades, new connections, and disconnections.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve data accuracy and streamline settlement processes.
  • Provide regular reporting on settlement performance, identifying exceptions and trends.
  • Assist with system testing, data validation, and process development to keep pace with industry and regulatory change.
  • Support the Billing & Settlements team with ad-hoc analysis and data reconciliation as needed.
About you

You’re analytical, curious, and detail-oriented, someone who enjoys problem-solving, numbers, and understanding how complex systems work. You take ownership of your work and thrive in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

You’ll have:

  • Expertise or understanding of at least one of the following areas: electricity metering, industry data flows, or electricity settlements would be desirable but is not an essential requirement for graduate level candidates.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships ensuring you work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • A proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn, improve processes, and develop new skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively.
Benefits
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Private health care
  • Company pension scheme
  • Life & medical insurance, eyecare scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Family-friendly policies
  • Recruit & Reward scheme
  • Access to Perkbox benefits platform
