Job summary

Padstone Recruitment Ltd. seeks an Electricians Mate for a commercial project in Glasgow. You will assist electricians with 2nd fix tasks, including socket installation, cabling, conduit, and lighting, under limited supervision. A valid ECS card and reliable time-keeping are essential.

On-site role with a 7:00–15:30 schedule; overtime available and weekly pay. CIS pay structure applies, with ongoing work for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a similar role.
• Good time keeping and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with socket installation, cables, conduit, power, wiring and lighting.
• Support 1st & 2nd fix works on site.
• Maintain PPE and safety compliance on site.

Job description

Electricians Mate

We are currently looking for ECS electricians mates for a start on a Commercial project in Glasgow. Must be able to help electricians install all areas of 2nd fix.

Paying a day rate £175 WITH weekly pay CIS working Mon to Fri. Working hours 7am-3:30pm. Overtime if wanted. Ongoing work for the right candidates.

Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work in various areas of the projects with limited supervision and use initiative

Work will include helping electricians with:

• Socket Install
• Cables
• Conduit
• Power
• Wiring
• Lighting
• 1st & 2nd fix works

Candidates must have full PPE and ECS card. The successful candidates will need to have previous experience and good time keeping, with a good attitude to work.

Money is paid weekly, CIS. Electrical Pairs are welcome on site.
