Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking a dedicated Electricians Mate to join the team and assist in the installation of solar panels and batteries across the Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire areas.

You will work closely with the lead electrician to route cables, mount inverters and batteries, and ensure safe, tidy installation sites while supporting day-to-day operations on site.

Qualifications

• Essential: Background in electrical work.
• Preferred: Experience with solar PV installations.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel.
• On-site parking available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead electrician with solar panel and battery installations.
• Perform cable routing and running.
• Mount and connect solar inverters and batteries.
• Make electrical connections as required.
• Work closely with the installation team on day-to-day operations.
• Conduct pre-installation work prior to full solar installations.
