Job summary

Jark Stevenage is urgently recruiting an experienced Electrician/Warden Call Engineer for an immediate start. The role covers installation, maintenance and servicing of warden call, door entry, access control and smoke detection systems across residential properties.

Based in Stevenage with a UK travel requirement, the engineer will join a growing team, work 40 hours weekly and be paid overtime as needed. Company van, tools, PPE and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Experienced installing and maintaining Warden Call/Nurse Call/Door Entry/Access Control & residential smoke detection systems such as Tynetec, Tunstall, Neon, KMS, PAC and Aico.
• Ability to diagnose, fault find and resolve technical issues with warden control systems.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (lofts, outside areas).
• Experience in residential and communal properties.
• Clear, polite communicator with strong customer service skills.
• Full, clean driving license is essential; DBS check can be arranged if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service warden call, nurse call, door entry and access control systems.
• Travel to client sites across the UK as required.
• Work around 40 hours per week, 9:00–17:30 with a half-hour lunch; occasional overtime and on-call duties.

Job description

Jark Stevenage are urgently recruiting for an experienced Electrician/Warden call engineer with Immediate start!

We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated and hardworking Electrician/Warden Call Engineer to join this dynamic, growing Stevenage organisation.

Work will involve the installation, maintenance and servicing of their client warden call systems, door entry, smoke detection and access control systems.

Headquarters are located in Stevenage, with a client base throughout the south east of England, East Midlands and up to Hampshire area. Majority of our clientele is also based in London. There may be requirements to travel to other geographic areas of the UK so adaptability is a key requirement of the position.

40 hours per week. Working hours between 9 - 5:30pm with half hour unpaid lunch. We expect the engineer to be at his first job for 9am.

Occasional overtime will be an expected requirement.

Out of hours paid on call. Rota to be confirmed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Clean transferable DBS check (if the successful candidate is not in current possession of this, the company can arrange for a new DBS check)
