Job summary

Vertu FM is seeking an Electrician - Testing and Inspection to cover the Southeast, East London, and surrounding areas. You will perform periodic inspection and testing, fixed-wire testing and EICRs across a regional portfolio of commercial and retail sites.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical testing, a current ECS Gold Card, and City & Guilds inspection qualifications. A competitive package includes a salary of £44,822 with LWA, a company vehicle, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements as listed: electrical apprenticeship/NVQ3, 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card, and periodic inspection/testing qualification.
Experience level aligned with senior testing roles (see essential qualifications).
CPD and BS 7671 knowledge kept up to date.

Responsibilities

Travel across the region to commercial and retail sites for testing and inspection.
Carry out fixed-wire testing and complete EICRs with accurate reporting.
Identify faults and code observations per BS 7671.
Perform remedial works and minor installations as needed.
Complete testing and certification with documentation.
Maintain CPD and up-to-date knowledge of BS 7671 changes.
Use digital certification systems and devices to record results.
Ensure work is safe, professional and within client timescales.
