We are recruiting for an Electrician Technician who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are looking for a technician with an electrical background and will conduct, with minimum supervision, maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant, and equipment throughout East and North Herts NHS Teaching Trust.
They will provide reliable technical engineering advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric, and utility services for the trust.
This role will involve an On Call rota of 1 in 5 weeks.

The post holder will be diagnosing and repairing faults on Healthcare Building Services which includes the following equipment:
They will carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks on the said equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering engineering spares, materials and equipment needed to undertake the works.
You will understand the working layout and operation of healthcare Building Services including engineering, plumbing and electrical systems on all the Trust's properties and instruct others on maintenance and inspection.
The post holder should be able to travel between various hospital sites. A mileage allowance will be paid for this facility if own vehicle is used.
You will also deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others.
