CDM Recruitment is seeking a Site Electrical & Controls Engineer to join a leading HVAC equipment manufacturer. You will travel to UK sites to install, commission and fault-find AHUs and control systems, providing on-site and remote support while ensuring safety and quality standards.
The role suits an experienced electrician with exposure to control systems and a desire to develop HVAC controls expertise. Training is provided and overnight stays are required where applicable.
Location: UK Wide (Monday to Friday Travel)
Base Location: Cramlington
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday 8:00am-1:00pm

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Site Electrical & Controls Engineer to join their specialist site services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with exposure to electrical control systems who is looking to develop specialist knowledge within HVAC controls. Full product and controls training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new technologies and progressing their career.
Working as part of the Site Services team, you'll travel to customer sites across the UK carrying out the installation, commissioning, fault finding and support of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated electrical control systems.
This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys working on‑site, solving technical problems and delivering excellent customer service.
We're looking for a qualified electrician who has some exposure to control systems and is keen to build a long‑term career within the HVAC sector.
£42,000 per annum starting slary plus
This is a field‑based role covering customer sites across the UK and rarely further affield.
Engineers typically travel on Monday mornings and return home on Fridays. Overnight accommodation is arranged using a company credit card, with a substantial daily subsistence allowance provided while working away.
Weekend work is kept to a minimum wherever possible.
