A large public health employer is seeking a highly motivated Electrician to carry out maintenance and repairs within a hospital environment. The role requires strong skills in electrical/mechanical services and the ability to work under pressure. Ideal candidates should have completed an accredited electrical apprenticeship and possess excellent communication skills. This role provides generous holiday entitlements and a flexible working approach, promoting employee well-being.
We are looking for a highly motivated, appropriately skilled, reliable and enthusiastic Electrician that is able to work well under pressure to carry out planned maintenance and day to day repairs within a hospital environment.
The post is working days with a requirement to work shifts when the needs of the Health Board require.

To provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors by:
Ensuring all essential services are maintained to support clinical departments in their prime task of treating patients whilst ensuring all statutory legislation is complied with.
Ensure maintenance tasks are fulfilled to appropriate levels of quality in a compliant manner.
Perform engineering maintenance work including activities which are complex and/or non-routine.
Responsible for fault diagnosis, repair and calibration on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment.
Maintenance and repair on a range of Industrial, Commercial, Domestic, and Plant equipment
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
