Job summary

Portakabin Ltd. is seeking an Electrician to perform installation, refurbishment and fit-out of buildings, ensuring work is safe, efficient and to high quality standards. You will support on-time and cost-effective project delivery while applying trade skills to solve problems and read SOPs and RAMS.

We value hands-on experience, industry qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, and a proactive approach to collaborating with the team across sites and projects. A rewarding benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience and practical skills gained within a specific trade.
• Practical skills developed through technical training with supervised hands-on application.
• Industry recognised trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of site, yard, refurbishment and fit-out practices, including safe systems of work.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, RAMS and Method Statements.
• Proven ability to apply trade skills independently to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled installation, refurbishment and fit-out of buildings.
• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment.
• Carry out refurbishment, fit-out and installation activities to specifications, RAMS and company standards.
• Apply trade skills to complete tasks independently and escalate issues when required.
• Work to refurbishment and fit-out timescales and contribute to cost-effective project delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the team and support other trades as needed.
