Job summary

Ashfield District Council in Scotland is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Repairs & Maintenance Team within the Operations Directorate. You will carry out repairs in tenanted and empty properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service in residents’ homes.

You will hold City and Guilds or an equivalent qualification, possess knowledge of building and construction, have a friendly and proactive approach, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with City and Guilds or equivalent
• Knowledge of general building and construction
• Experience dealing with the public and hold a valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs in tenanted and empty properties within the Operations Directorate
• Work in customers' homes to complete repair and maintenance works
