Job Overview

Electrician / Domestic Electrical Technician – An excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician / Domestic Electrical Technician to join a busy and growing electrical testing organisation carrying out domestic EICRs and remedial works across Leeds and surrounding areas.

If you’ve also worked in the following roles, we’d also like to hear from you: Domestic Installer, Electrical Test Engineer, EICR Technician, Domestic Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Testing Operative, Test and Inspection Electrician

SALARY: £36,000 - £44,000 per annum + Plenty of Overtime (Time and a Half on Weekends) + Van + Benefits

LOCATION: Leeds and surrounding areas

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week, plus plenty of overtime available

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will need a Full Driving Licence (a company van will be provided by the company)

DUTIES

Your duties as the Electrician / Domestic Electrical Technician include:

  • Conduct Electrical Inspections: Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on domestic properties and accommodation units
  • Perform Remedial Work: Complete required follow-up repairs following inspections
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure all electrical work is compliant with safety regulations and company quality standards
  • Deliver Excellent Service: Provide professional, reliable, and customer-focused service to clients
  • Manage Workload Efficiently: Plan daily routes and complete assigned tasks within set timeframes
  • Support Team Goals: Contribute to the company’s reputation for quality and reliability

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified Domestic Electrician
  • 18th Edition certified
  • Inspection and Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent) – desirable
  • Experience in domestic electrical testing and inspection
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
