Job summary

Exchange People are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-wide organisation for an Electrician to join their installations team. You will work independently and across the UK, installing and maintaining systems at customer sites.

The role includes installing network infrastructure cabling (Cat5/6/6a) and maintenance of access control systems. Benefits include a fully stocked van with fuel card, travel/hotel expenses, holiday pay, company pension, private healthcare, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing and maintaining electrical installation systems.
• Experience with data cabling and network infrastructure cabling.
• Certified Electrician (JIB Gold card).
• Containment experience and data installation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand security needs and tailor solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
• Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control hardware and software.
• Provide training and support to clients on access control systems.
