Job summary

F.R.Scott Ltd is recruiting a fully qualified Electrician to join its Electrical & Controls team. You will work mainly across Hull and surrounding areas, performing installation, maintenance and fault-finding tasks in commercial, industrial and public sector buildings.

The role requires 18th Edition certification, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to read schematics. A full UK driving licence and good communication are essential for this varied, hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial/industrial settings.
• 18th Edition qualification is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, panel drawings and technical documentation.
• Full UK driving licence and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault-find electrical and controls systems.
• Carry out electrical installations including lighting, power, containment and trunking.
• Install and terminate control wiring and cabling to a high standard.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of BMS and heating control systems.
• Work from electrical drawings and diagrams; complete job sheets and site reports.
