Job summary

CMS - Recruitment is seeking an Electrician for Domestic Maintenance based in Bishops Stortford within a 20 mile radius. The role offers a £40,000 basic salary with typical earnings of £45,000–£50,000, plus a van, fuel card and training.

Applicants must hold the 18th edition and Level 3 or equivalent; an EICR testing qualification is desirable. A clean driving licence and DBS check are required. Working 40 hours weekly, 8am–5pm, with opportunities for overtime, upskilling and annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Work on social housing reactive maintenance tasks.

Electrician, Domestic Maintenance

Qualified Electricians required for large housing maintenance specialist with ongoing work on a contract that has work on social housing properties.

Due to the nature of the contract and where their properties are located, there will be some driving involved, but every effort is made to keep the electrician in one area each day. Suitable candidates must be competent with domestic electrical repairs and have excellent customer service skills. There are also opportunities for training and development.

Suitable Electriciansmust hold 18th edition, and a level 3 or equivalent and ideally a testing qualification for EICRs, but not essential. Electricians will need a clean or nearly clean driving licence and due to the nature of the work will be subject to a DBS check.

• 40 Hours per week
• Hours 8AM to 5PM
