St Mary’s University is seeking an electrician to join the Estates maintenance team. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical work across a mixed estate of commercial and residential properties, focusing on safety and high-quality service.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, together with excellent communication and teamwork to ensure campus safety and operational integrity.

Competenze

• Pass in City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory Part 2 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
• Experience in small installation work and fault finding in electrical systems.
• Experience in fire alarm testing and emergency lighting testing.
• Experience with 415V three-phase electrical installations.
• Full driving licence.

We are looking for an electrician with strong fault finding and maintenance experience to deliver planned and reactive work across our estate which is a mixture of commercial and residential properties.

You will need to be a team player with excellent technical and communication skills, be calm under pressure and with a proactive approach and be commitment to safety and customer service.

• A pass in the City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory Part 2 Course or approved equivalent or Qualified the 18th edition
• Experience as a registered apprentice or some equivalent method of training and experience of practical training in electrical installation work
• Relevant experience of small installation work and fault finding in electrical equipment and systems
• You will have been a registered apprentice or undergone some equivalent method of training and have had practical training in electrical installation work
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (or approved equivalent)
• Experience of fire alarm testing and emergency light testing
• Experience of 415V three phase
• Health and Safety awareness
• Full Driving Licence
