Mears Group PLC is seeking a qualified Electrician to work mainly in void properties performing EICRs, rectifying C1/C2 defects, and completing testing to ensure safety standards are met. You will wire new kitchen circuits and install extraction fans while supporting upgrade works.
Ideal candidates will have strong inspection/testing experience, the ability to work independently, and deliver compliant, high‑quality work with attention to detail.
Annual salary: up to £42,020.69 plus company van & fuel card.

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to work primarily in void properties, carrying out EICRs, rectifying C1 and C2 defects, and completing inspection and testing to ensure full compliance with safety standards. The role includes wiring new kitchen circuits, installing and replacing extraction fans, and supporting kitchen upgrade works.
You will also provide support to responsive repairs when required and take part in the emergency call‑out rota. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inspection, testing and fault finding, be able to work independently, and consistently deliver high‑quality, compliant work with strong attention to detail.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle you must be aged over 21, have held your licence for over 3 months and have fewer than 9 points.
