Job summary

Construct Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrician to join a long-term data centre project in Slough. You will focus on electrical installation works across the site for a reputable M&E contractor.

Required qualifications include NVQ Level 3, ECS Gold Card, IPAF 3a/3b, and a Basic DBS check, with proven data centre, commercial, or industrial project experience. Monday to Friday with potential weekend work; pay £250-£260 per day CIS.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• ECS Gold Card or equivalent electrical safety card.
• IPAF 3a/3b certification.
• DBS check (can be arranged if required).
• Proven experience on data centre, commercial or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation works including containment, tray, conduit, trunking, wiring and lighting.
• Installing and working with various electrical containment systems.
• Working at height using access equipment such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts.

You will be working for a reputable and well-established M&E contractor, with the role focused mainly on electrical installation works across the data centre project.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out electrical installation works, including metal containment, tray, conduit, trunking, wiring and lighting
• Installing and working with various electrical containment systems
• Working at height using access equipment, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 and ECS Gold Card
• IPAF 3a & 3b
• Basic DBS check (can be arranged if required)
• Proven experience on data centre, commercial or industrial projects
• Strong installation experience
