Job summary

Smartsearch Recruitment Ltd is assisting in recruiting an approved Electrician for a permanent position in Gravesend. The role involves 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations, modifications, fault finding, and rigorous inspection and testing work.

The ideal candidate will hold an ECS Gold Card/JIB Card, be time served, possess 18th edition qualifications, and have 2391/2394/2395 testing credentials along with AM2 qualification.

Qualifications

• Must be time served or apprentice trained electrician.
• 18th edition requirements for electrical installations.
• ECS gold card/JIB card at approved electrician grade.
• 2391 or 2394/5 Inspection & Testing qualification.
• AM2 Electrical qualification.

Responsibilities

Job description

Electrician, Salary: £50k. Permanent role with excellent benefits package and overtime available (paid at time + half). Location: Gravesend

Our client is looking to recruit a JIB/ECS Gold card Approved Electrician to carry out electrical installations (1st fix and 2nd fix) and electrical modifications, fault finding and Inspection & Testing work. Candidates will ideally have experience in commercial electrical work though we are equally interested in candidates who have domestic only experience with the required qualifications as listed below.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a time served / apprentice trained and qualified electrician
• 18th edition requirements for electrical installations.
• ECS gold card/JIB card at approved electrician grade
• 2391 or 2394/5 Inspection & Testing qualification
