Job summary

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is hiring an Electrician to join the Facilities team and keep our world‑class studios running to the highest standards. You will be hands-on with maintaining electrical systems across the site, handling faults, and supporting occasional projects at other locations.

The role is based mainly at Leavesden with a 40-hour week and rota commitments, including evenings and weekends. You will work within a safety‑driven environment and contribute to site maintenance, plant

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified electrician with current UK accreditation and relevant wiring regulations knowledge.
  • Experience with electrical systems maintenance and fault finding in large facilities preferred.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor completion of tasks to the highest standards.
  • Ensure H&S compliance, including PPE usage per policy.
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment for continuous operation and legal compliance.
  • Set approved conduct levels for work methods within the team.
  • Operate and maintain systems via the Building Management System (BMS).
  • Carry out small installation works and modify existing systems.
  • Fault find and rectify faults efficiently.
  • Perform general maintenance and site surveys, including work at height.
  • Audit stock levels and report to the Senior Electrician for orders.
  • Adhere to health and safety legislation and best practice guidelines.

Approved Electrician AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent
BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
Electricity Supply Regulations Awareness
Electricity at Work act awareness
JIB/ECS card
2391 inspecting and testing advantageous
Full UK driving licence

Your New Role…

Join Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as an Electrician and play a key role in keeping our world-class facilities running to the highest standards. Working alongside our Facilities team, you’ll be hands‑on with the maintenance and installation of electrical systems across the studio, helping to support the productions that bring blockbuster films and TV shows to life. No two days are the same; from electrical projects and fault‑finding to broader site maintenance tasks, you’ll enjoy a varied role with opportunities to expand your skills across the wider facilities function. Primarily based at our Leavesden studio, you’ll also have the chance to support projects at other locations when required.


Your Role Accountabilities…


  • Monitor completion of tasks, ensuring the highest standards of work.

  • Monitor H&S compliance, such as correct PPE being worn, as per the H&S at Work Act and WBSL H&S Policy.

  • Ensure that the site’s electrical and mechanical equipment are looked after in such a way as to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance.

  • Set approved levels of conduct for work methodology within the team.

  • Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems via the BMS

  • Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems.

  • Fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification.

  • Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections including areas at height.

  • Audit and review of all stock levels and report to the Senior Electrician any required orders.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities and procedures adhere to applicable health and safety legislation, policies, and best practise guidelines.


Qualifications & Experiences…


  • Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.

  • BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.

  • Electricity Supply Regulations Awareness.

  • Electricity at Work act awareness.

  • JIB/ECS card.

  • 2391 inspecting and testing would be advantageous.

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence


Working Pattern…

This role is based on a 40-hour working week, with flexibility required to support the operational needs of both the Studio and Studio Tour. As such, you will be expected to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and some Bank Holidays. Given the nature of the role, there will also be an on‑call element, requiring you to respond to emergency situations both during and outside of normal working hours when necessary.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
