Job description

NRL are currently recruiting Electricians in Fort William.

Start: 19th January 2026

Duration: 8 weeks

Lodge Paid in line with JIB

Key Responsibilities
  • Pulling and routing electrical cables across the site.
  • Performing glanding and terminating of cables to a high standard.
  • Assisting with temporary site power setup and distribution.
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines.
Requirements
  • Valid JIB card - essential
  • Proven experience in cable pulling, glanding, and terminating.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation (preferred).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices on construction sites.

  • Mon-Fri 10hrs a day available, 11 day fortnight this may change due to subject site agreement

Pay

PAYE or Umbrella

PAYE Rates:

Mon- Fri 1st37.5 hours £21.19 Working Rate + £2.98 Holiday Pay = £27.64 Total Payable

Midweek OT, Sat 1st hours - £31.79 + £3.84 Holiday Pay = £35.62 Total Payable

Sat after 1st hours & Sunday - £42.38 + £5.12 Holiday Pay = £47.50 Total Payable

Umbrella Rates:

Mon- Fri 1st37.5 hours £27.64

Midweek OT, Sat & Sun - £41.46

Graded Electrician

PAYE Rates:

Mon- Fri 1st37.5 hours £19.54 Working Rate + £2.74 Holiday Pay = £22.28 Total Payable

Midweek OT, Sat & Sun - £29.31 + £3..54 Holiday Pay = £32.85 Total Payable

Sat after 1st hours & Sunday - £39.08 + £4.72 Holiday Pay = £43.80 Total Payable

Umbrella Rates:

Mon- Fri 1st37.5 hours £25.49

Midweek OT, Sat & Sun - £38.24
