Job summary

Virtua UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to install and test AC and DC electrical systems across Mobile Telecoms Infrastructure Sites, MOD/MOJ locations and FTTx networks, following design drawings and specifications.

In addition you will become the 2nd Qualified Supervisor, supported by the Electrical Compliance Manager, with nationwide travel to sites and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• ECS/JIB Gold Card or higher is required.
• BS7671 AMD 2 (2022) with C&G or EAL.
• C&G Test & Inspection qualification.
• Proven telecoms AC/DC experience with major networks (e.g., Vodafone, EE, Three).
• Ability to produce digital electrical certification.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install and test AC & DC electrical systems across Mobile Telecoms Infrastructure Sites, MOD/MOJ locations, and FTTx networks.
• Follow design drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality, compliant installations.
• Act as 2nd Qualified Supervisor under the Electrical Compliance Manager for progression and development.

In addition to the Electrical installation duties you will become the 2nd Qualified Supervisor for Virtua UK, being guided and assisted by our Electrical Compliance Manager to allow progression and development.

Requirements

• ECS/JIB Gold Card (Electrician or higher)
• BS7671 AMD 2 (2022) - C&G #removed# or EAL
• C&G #removed# Test & Inspection
• Proven telecoms AC & DC experience (Vodafone, EE, Three, Telefonica, MBNL, CTIL)
• Ability to produce digital electrical certification
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
