Job summary

Think FE Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Workshop Technician for a college in Northamptonshire. This hands-on role supports practical lessons by preparing workshops, equipment and materials, and by assisting students during activities.

You will keep teaching spaces clean and organised, monitor stock, and ensure tools and materials are looked after. Permanent position with a 36-week working year and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Electrical Installation, practical electrical skills and an organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workshops, equipment and materials for practical lessons.
• Support students during practical activities.
• Keep teaching areas clean, tidy and ready to use.
• Monitor stock and make sure tools, equipment and materials are accounted for and looked after.
