Job summary

Wirral Metropolitan College is seeking a Trainer Assessor/Lecturer in Electrical to train, support and assess learners on workplace programmes, including in-house delivery, at Wirral Waters Campus. The role requires coordinating visits and preparing training materials for timely apprenticeship completion.

Candidates should hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA) and have knowledge of Apprenticeship standards. DBS checks are provided and CPD is supported by the college.

Qualifications

• Experience of training and assessing in an education or work-based learning environment.
• Ability to plan and prepare training documentation to support delivery and apprenticeship frameworks.
• Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards or frameworks and related assessment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train, support and assess students on workplace programmes, including some in-house delivery.
• Plan and prepare training documentation to support direct and online delivery for timely apprenticeship outcomes.
• Liaise with candidates and workplace supervisors to arrange visits in College or at employers’ premises.
