ELECTRICAL TESTING ENGINEER

Norfolk / Suffolk / Essex

The Company:

Dodd Group requires an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to assist in our FDIS contracts across MOD sites.

The role:

You will work closely with the Compliance Manager and the local NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor in the delivery of scheduled inspection, testing and condition reporting in accordance with BS7671 as amended, be able to work independently and with others where required. You will be required to manage energisations isolations and permit to works systems in accordance with MOD JSP375 Volume 3, Chapter 3. You will be expected to make yourself available for both internal and external audits associated with the aforementioned role as and when required.

Required

  • Qualified Electrician NVQ Level 3 Electrical engineering and principles
  • C&G 2391-52 Initial and periodic inspection and testing
  • C&G 18th Edition regulations
  • Wiring knowledge associated with domestic, industrial, commercial
  • Knowledge of the MOD JSP375 Volume 3, Chapter 3 (preferred but not essential)
  • Compex 1-4 qualifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
