Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team.

Responsibilities

You’ll interpret and work from drawings, schedules and schematics. You’ll order and collect necessary components for tasks, test and inspect electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance, diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions, assemble, install and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures, respond promptly to faults, diagnose root causes, rectify issues, conduct regular maintenance tasks and produce detailed reports.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in electrical testing, maintenance and installation.
  • Time-served electrical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent). You must have City & Guilds 2391 (2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in preventative and reactive maintenance as well as commercial/industrial LV electrical systems.
  • Prior knowledge of completing electrical certification and reports digitally.
