Job description

Meridian requires Electrical Testers & Testing Electricians with a commercial/industrial background to work on a large-scale project for a UK leading contractor near Reading, Berkshire.

Starts available in September onwards

Duration – Ongoing

Candidates must possess a valid JIB Gold Card with testing qualifications and experience.

This is a very lucrative, long-term opportunity where you can maximise your earning potential through an 11-day fortnight working pattern:

• Week 1 – 68.5 hrs
• Week 2 – 42 hrs

Lots of midweek and weekend overtime available.

All weekend hours are paid at double rate, equating to £52.18 per hour.

Travel, lodging, and weekly bonuses are payable.

Security clearance must be obtained to work this role (we will assist you through this process at no cost).

Start date: ASAP (approximately 2 weeks from application, depending on SC Security Clearance process).

Requirements: JIB Gold Card, IPAF, testing & inspection qualifications and experience, willingness to obtain Security Clearance.

Methods of pay: Pay as You Earn (PAYE) only – no payroll company charges.

Pay Rates, Allowances, and Bonuses:

1. Monday - Friday (first 37.5 hours): £26.09/hour (including holiday pay)
2. Midweek overtime (hours after 37.5): £39.14/hour (including holiday pay)
3. Saturday and Sunday hours: £52.18/hour (including holiday pay)
4. Lodge: £70 per day (taxed)
5. Travel allowance (taxed, dependent on home location)
6. Travel time (dependent on home location)
7. Weekly bonuses: £50 for quality, £50 for productivity/attendance (both taxed)
8. Fortnightly incentive bonus: £110 (must work full 11 days)
