A leading defence organization is seeking an Electrical Test Operator to join their Manufacturing team in Bolton. The role includes testing a variety of electrical hardware and maintaining quality standards. Candidates should possess relevant electrical engineering qualifications and demonstrate strong teamwork and initiative. £42,558 + shift allowance
5 days per week on site due to workload classification
British Citizen or a dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
This opportunity is for an Electrical Test Operator to join the Manufacturing team supporting test and certification of a variety of electrical hardware builds, ranging from small fixtures through to complex missile systems, during all phases of the product lifecycle. You will be providing operations support to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
You will be working with a large team of multi-disciplined operators in a fast‑paced but friendly and inclusive Manufacturing environment. The team has a great mix of people, ranging from apprentices through to experienced skilled technicians, all striving to deliver technical excellence across a number of different missile systems in development and production.
Once training is complete you will move to night shift and work the following pattern:
