Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to specialise in inspection & testing, with ongoing training and clear long-term development. You'll perform EICRs across retail and commercial sites, joining a stable, national employer that supports your growth and technical advancement.

This home-based role covers a regional patch in Scotland and surrounding areas, offering 40 hours per week and a company van, with emphasis on accurate reporting and consistent standards.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician) and C&G 2391-52 or equivalent and C&G 2382 (18th Edition).
• Looking to specialise further in inspection & testing with ongoing training and long-term development.

Responsibilities

• Periodic inspection & testing and EICR production across retail and commercial sites.
• 40 hours/week: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-14:30 (times may vary by site requirements).
• Secure, permanent position with a well-established national employer delivering high-quality testing across major sites.
