MJP SOLUTIONS LTD is recruiting an Electrical Test Engineer to perform EICRs, inspection and testing across commercial sites in London and the South East. You will deliver accurate reports and liaise with clients and site teams to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification.
• Experience carrying out EICRs.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out EICRs across commercial properties.

Electrical Test Engineer / EICR Engineer

London / South East

Up to £50,000 basic salary + overtime + company van + benefits

Realistic earnings of £60,000-£70,000+ with overtime

An established electrical contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to carry out EICRs, inspection and testing, and associated remedial works across commercial sites throughout London and the South East.

Working with high-quality commercial clients and prestigious environments, this role would suit someone who takes pride in accurate reporting, professional conduct and completing testing to a high standard—not someone who wants to rush through reports simply to hit numbers.

The Role

• Carrying out EICRs across commercial properties
• Completing inspection and testing accurately and professionally

Essential Requirements

• 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
• Experience carrying out EICRs

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience within commercial and high‑end environments
• Experience carrying out remedial works
• IPAF and/or PASMA
• Experience working on compliance contracts
