Overview

Roc Search's client is looking to add an Electrical Technician/Wireman to their growing team based in Leicester. The role is fully on site, with some travel to client sites and the possibility of abroad travel every now and then.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electrical systems, route cables and wires neatly, paying attention to relevant electrical standards at all times
  • Assist mechanical build, routing pneumatic pipes etc
  • Assist in setting the completed equipment prior to development
  • Set all sensors and electrical systems prior to development
  • Manually check operation of each element of the process prior to development
  • Assist in development of equipment from power on through to customer acceptance tests, installation and acceptance test at customer site.
  • Assist in support of installed equipment at customer site.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of wiring machinery and automation equipment
  • Experience of building special purpose machinery or similar machinery
  • Experience and understanding of pneumatic systems
  • Good knowledge of electrical principles, safety requirements and working to relevant electrical standards
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is essential.
