Electrical Team Leader – North Yorkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join a leading manufacturer of advanced systems, based in North Yorkshire.

The Role:

You’ll support the Electronics Lab Supervisor in managing a team of electrical technicians, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained. Acting as deputy in the supervisor’s absence, you’ll prioritise workloads, oversee testing and assembly of electrical/electronic components, and help drive departmental performance to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, prioritise, and delegate work across the electrical team
  • Support project delivery and ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Maintain workflow through the department and monitor efficiency
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
About You:
  • ONC (or equivalent) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of low/high voltage systems, control/data systems, and fibre optic handling
  • Confident interpreting drawings and technical documentation
  • Skilled in MS Office and MRP/stock management systems
  • Organised, proactive, and able to lead by example
