A leading educational institution in the UK seeks an Electrical Technician to manage the maintenance of electrical infrastructures while ensuring safety. The ideal candidate will have an HNC/HND in an electrical discipline, knowledge of HV and LV systems, and good maintenance experience. This role offers training opportunities for LV and HV authorisation, contributing to significant projects in energy systems.
Salary range: £37,694 - £46,049 per annum
FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)
Term: Open-ended

We are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician with expertise in the professional engineering arena and put those skills to practical use to deliver testing programmes in a safe and cost-effective manner. Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in the design, planning and implementation of projects, ensuring a safe environment is provided and maintained throughout. You will be required to investigate and resolve electrical issues and there will also be some mechanical works too.
You will receive training and work towards obtaining LV authorisation quickly, with the opportunity to work towards HV authorisation in the future.
