The Company

We are working with a top UK construction plant hire company to find a skilled Electrical Technician. The successful candidate will join a team that values safety, innovation, and supporting the nation’s infrastructure goals.

The Role
  • As an electrical technician, you will work on a variety of plant and equipment, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, telematics, CANBUS networks, and reverse camera systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Quickly diagnose faults, identify wear or damage, and coordinate timely repairs with the maintenance team.
  • Ensure all plant meets strict health and safety regulations, including lifting and work equipment standards.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team while also taking ownership of individual tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills

You will have previously worked as an electrical technician, vehicle technician, HGV Technician, HGV mechanic, Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Auto Electrician, and MET Technician. You will have previous electrical experience including installations and repairs on equipment such as diggers, dumpers, excavators, HGVs, vans, vehicles or related. You must hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification.
