Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a part-time Electrical Technician to support the electrical department in Liverpool. The role includes preparing work areas and materials for practical classes and ensuring stock levels are accurate. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and experience with young people. A First Aid Certificate and Level 2 English and Math qualifications are desirable.

Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Technician for a part-time contract position.

• Temporary part time - Working 3 days a week - Tue - Wed - Thur 8.45 am to 5.00 pm (duration unknown - Cover required) -
• This role will support the electrical department
• You will prepare work areas and materials for student classes and assessment activities, ensuring materials are prepared for practical classes and maintain accurate stock levels.
• In addition, you will ensure the resources and tools are stored securely and work in line with the current legislation, codes of practice and College policies.
• Hold a First Aid Certificate - desirable
• Have experience of working with young people in a busy workshop environment (PREFERABLE )
• Have strong communication skills
• Hold a Level 2 English and Math (GCSE's or Functional Skills)
• Have basic IT skills
