Responsibilities of an Electrical Technician:

  • Operating and maintaining the production equipment, following operating procedures and operating a chemical process to ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 standards.
  • Providing planned and unplanned maintenance support
  • Carrying out in-process adjustments and repairing pneumatic and mechanical Equipment
  • Assisting in production operations as required so a flexible approach to team working will be key to your success as an Electrical Technician.

To be successful in this role of Electrical Technician, holding experience of the below would be beneficial:

  • An electrical qualification, apprentice trained ideally with production or operating experience in an industrial (preferably chemical) environment.
  • A good level of computer literacy
  • Previous experience of maintenance management systems, SAP would be an advantage.
  • Siemens hardware/programme experience and/or PLC/SCADA experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID
