Qualifications

  • Proven experience within Electrical/Engineering.
  • Previous instructional experience in engineering environment is desirable.
  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification / Train the Trainer Course or equivalent is desirable.

Our client, a prominent figure in the engineering training sector, is on the lookout for an Electrical Technical Trainer to join their team in Gosport. This permanent role focuses on delivering high-quality training within the Electrical Engineering Training group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering training modules within Electrical Engineering to adult learners
  • Conducting both theory and practical training in Electrical Engineering
  • Ensuring outstanding relationships with the customer and within the Electrical Engineering training area
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating training documentation, and assessing student coursework to provide feedback on performance
  • Utilising best practice across the establishment to inform and direct quality and improvement activities across RN training
  • Responsible for the duty of care and progression of trainees during the delivery phase
Job Requirements
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience within Electrical/Engineering
  • Proficiency in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
  • Competent practical skills in Electrical Engineering
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Previous instructional experience in engineering environment
  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification / Train the Trainer Course or equivalent

This role is offered on a term time basis, working 45 weeks per year. Non-working weeks include 2 weeks at Christmas, 2 weeks at Easter, and 3 weeks in August. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
