Electrical System Test Engineer (EV Charging) - 6-month Contract
  • San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy
  • Hybrid-Remote - 3 Day Per Week On-site
  • Starting in December
  • Up to €250 EUR Per Day - Flexible Depending on Experience

Take a vital role to validate next-generation DC fast-charging products at system level for a leading e-mobility manufacturer. You’ll be a hands‑on test specialist who turns prototypes into certified, reliable, user‑ready solutions.

What you’ll do...
  • Own system‑level test planning and execution across V&V phases, including functional and occasional thermal/climatic testing.
  • Define test sequences, methods, and instrumentation aligned to applicable product standards and certification requirements.
  • Troubleshoot early prototypes and resolve product/system integration issues (power converters/inverters).
  • Analyze results, produce clear test reports, and contribute to technical collateral.
  • Support on‑site certification activities; collaborate with design, quality, and service teams.
  • Contribute to service validation: installation, commissioning, and field support on pre‑release units.
  • Ensure prototype readiness, safe test setups, and rigorous documentation.
  • Occasional travel to partner labs internationally.
What you bring...
  • Strong experience in product and system validation (automotive/industrial power electronics a plus).
  • Strong system view; confident around HV/LV power electronics, inverters/converters.
  • Proficient with lab instrumentation (DMMs, oscilloscopes, data loggers); thermal/climatic chambers preferred.
  • Linux basics (cd/ls/cp, etc.); Python for test automation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Android‑based apps is a plus.
  • Fluent English; Italian is a nice‑to‑have.
