Overview

Electrical Supervisor – Location: Three Mills Studio, London, E3 3DU. Salary: £47,000 - £50,830 (dependent on experience). Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (40 hours per week). Holiday: 22 days annual leave + bank holidays.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical maintenance operations at Three Mills Studio in London. This is a key position within our facilities management team, responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site. As the Electrical Supervisor, you\'ll oversee a small on-site team, maintain statutory compliance records, and ensure all electrical systems perform reliably. You\'ll be the go-to contact for technical issues, supporting both our client and facilities management colleagues while upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the on-site electrical team, maintaining compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate electrical compliance and maintenance documentation.
  • Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to agreed schedules and specifications.
  • Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault-finding, completing all documentation via the NICEIC portal.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs to minimise downtime and maintain operations.
  • Take part in the on-call rota, providing reliable out-of-hours support.
  • Liaise closely with subcontractors, engineers, and facilities teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Complete monthly maintenance reports in collaboration with the Contract Manager.
  • Support senior management and contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • From time to time, you may be asked to carry out other reasonable tasks in line with your role. This job description may be reviewed periodically to reflect operational needs.
About You

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
  • BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent)
  • Sound understanding of building services and maintenance management
  • Strong working knowledge of health & safety compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (Buildings, Structures & Environment)
  • City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2350, or 2365 (or equivalent)
  • IPAF, PASMA, First Aid, and Electrical AP12 certification
  • Experience using NICEIC online systems
  • Forklift licence
Experience
  • Essential: Proven experience in electrical maintenance and supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and maintain compliance standards
  • Desirable: Previous experience within a Facilities Management environment
  • Background in supervising maintenance across multi-discipline or multi-site operations
