Job summary

A leading contractor in the water sector is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join their team in East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising electrical installations and relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 and ECS Gold Card. This role offers a competitive rate of up to £400 per day for a duration of 6 months with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical installations on capital projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification required.
• Previous experience in the water industry is essential.

Rate: Up to £400 per day (Umbrella CIS + Mileage)

Overview

Are you an Electrical Supervisor with water experience? Can you see yourself working with a leading contractor on the Southern Water framework? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with a strong background in the water sector to join the team in East Sussex.

• Liaise with the supply chain to support project delivery and commissioning.
• Apply sound technical judgement throughout the construction phase.
• Provide hands‑on support to contractors within the electrical discipline.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards across all works.
• Coordinate with internal teams, client representatives, and supply chain partners to achieve project objectives.
• Organise and manage shut‑down methodologies in alignment with project plans.
• Support the application and monitoring of Business Assurance System (BAS) policies and procedures.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Fully qualified electrician.
• ECS (JIB) Gold Card holder.
• Proven experience supervising electrical installations on capital projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Previous experience in the water industry.
