Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience within an electrical environment, ideally within a housing association.
  • Strong background in electrical systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management principles applied to electrical projects.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding integrated systems.

  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Oversee electrical maintenance programmes, including routine inspections and repairs.
  • Manage electrical projects from planning through to execution, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Programme and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise operational processes.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth project integration and operational continuity.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
