Job description

Electrical Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a large commercial hotel fit-out project. This is a freelance role for a hands‑on supervisor who can drive quality, safety and programme on site while coordinating directly with the project team and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on‑site electrical trades, including electricians and subcontractors
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications and design information, ensuring full compliance on site
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of installations
• Work closely with other trade supervisors, the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery
• Enforce all health & safety requirements, including RAMS, PPE and safe systems of work
• Review testing, inspection and commissioning documentation
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and report/escalate as required
• Support snagging, defect management and handover processes
• Maintain accurate daily/weekly records, including reports, timesheets and material usage

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor
• Proven experience supervising electrical works on commercial or industrial projects (hotel fit‑out preferred)
• Valid ECS Gold Card
• SSSTS qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
