Overview

Electrical Supervisor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working on behalf of our client at a prestigious static site in East London (E3 postcode). This role is suitable for a qualified electrical engineer with experience in commercial maintenance environments. You will be responsible for carrying out all planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. General building maintenance duties such as minor plumbing and fabric work are also expected.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with schedules, specifications, and procedures.
  • Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and remedial works, recording results accurately using the NICEIC portal or company documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, diagnosing faults and taking corrective action to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain electrical compliance and statutory maintenance records, including the calibration and condition of test equipment.
  • Liaise with the on-site Facilities Management team, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure clear communication with both the client and management team, providing regular operational updates.
  • Promote a safety-conscious and collaborative working culture at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance) or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • Proven experience in commercial or facilities management environments.
  • Strong understanding of building services systems and electrical compliance requirements.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety procedures and statutory maintenance obligations.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
  • City & Guilds 2391 - Testing & Inspection qualification.
  • Experience using NICEIC Online Click System.
  • IPAF, PASMA, or First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience within the Facilities Management industry.
  • Electrical AP12 or equivalent appointment.
  • Forklift licence.
Salary / Package

Annual Salary: £47,000 to £50,830 (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (40-hour week)

Holiday: 22 days + Bank Holidays
