Job description

Overview

A large national Property maintenance company, is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to be based at a large mobile site in and around the area of Walthamstow. This is a fantastic role for the right person to join an established maintenance team working.

Location: Walthamstow

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 8-5 Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week

Salary: £47,000 - £50,000

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electricians, dealing with queries relating to electrical installation and testing.
• Ensure your team is clear on their roles and responsibilities, assess resource requirements and support management.

About You

• Time served Electrician with knowledge of social housing and health and safety.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to oversee a team of electricians with all compliancy.
• Valid full clean UK driving licence (minimum 12 months) as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

Qualifications

• Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Certification for the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Bs 7671
• Inspection and Testing qualification (such as C&G 2391 or 2394 and 2395)
• At least two years of practical AM2 assessment of competence
• Thorough understanding of the Building Regulations
