Exciting opportunity at MACA Mining! Join our dynamic Maintenance team as an Electrical Superintendent. You’ll play a vital leadership role in overseeing all electrical maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and compliance of mobile maintenance equipment across multiple projects. You’ll support projects and their electrical teams, implement preventative maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement to support safe and efficient operations across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support electrical maintenance personnel by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing coaching and development strategies.
  • Oversee scheduled electrical maintenance activities and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise unplanned breakdowns.
  • Monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal availability and reduce operational downtime.
  • Manage parts and equipment requirements to support efficient maintenance planning and execution.
  • Commitment, respect and compliance to the MACA health, safety and environmental practices.
  • Actively participates and contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising electrical maintenance teams within an open pit mining environment.
  • Proven experience in ensuring our plant and equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard in a timely manner.
  • WA Electrical Licence, CPR/LVR and First Aid.
  • Sound knowledge of safe mining and earthmoving practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across the team and departments.
