Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting an Electrical Site Manager for a Tier 1 contractor on a prison construction project in London. The contract is 6 months with a rate up to £450 per day via Umbrella PAYE. The role requires managing electrical installations within a live prison environment and obtaining Enhanced DBS clearance before starting.

You will lead site electrical works, coordinate with MEP teams, and drive delivery to programme and budget while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination across trades.
• Solid knowledge of site health and safety procedures.
• Experience managing electrical installs on construction projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe installation of electrical services on site.
• Deliver works to specifications, programme, and budget.
• Manage electrical work packages and track milestones.
• Coordinate with mechanical trades and other site teams.
• Maintain high health and safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and site team to resolve issues.
• Guide supervisors and oversee other trades as needed.
• Monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with live prison environment requirements.
