Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-site Electrical Site Manager / Electrical Site Supervisor on one project at any one time; coordinate and check off electrical installation works on that project.
• Work on projects that could range from £1.5M to £20M+.
• Be an on-site, off the tools manager who is present on site, coordinating electrical installations and supervising the works.
• Manage on-site electrical installations in new build commercial and industrial buildings (e.g., industrial sheds for distribution, food production, data centres, hospitals, purpose-built industrial buildings).
• Lead and manage Electrical Engineers / Electricians, Supervisors / Foremen, and collaborate with other specialist electrical engineers and electricians on site.
• Liaise regularly with the site-based electrical installation engineers and supervisory team; conduct yourself with integrity and professionalism.
• Contribute to a stable and interesting career with varied projects and continued career development.
• Contribute to a safe and productive on-site environment while representing the company’s standards.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Direct electrical site management or electrical site supervisory experience in the delivery of electrical installations and related services in building services (M&E) / electrical installation backgrounds.
• Experience as an Electrical Site Manager OR Electrical Site Supervisor on electrical installations for new build commercial and industrial buildings.
• Competence in supervising Electrical Engineers / Electricians and On-site teams; proven track record on projects of this scale.
• Ability to work with internal teams and external specialists on site installations.
• Must be able to commute to or be based in or near the Derby area.
