Electrical Site Manager

An established M&E contractor, based in Manchester city centre, is looking for an ambitious Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical aspects of their development projects.

Responsibilities

1. Managing the entire electrical fit-out elements of the project.
2. Assisting the operations manager by raising any necessary issues.
3. Retrieving quotes to ensure supply costs are competitive.
4. Technical liaison and review with external parties (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors).
5. Attending meetings and site visits as required.
6. Learning and working within site management procedures.
7. Willing to develop your role and responsibilities further, with rewards for progression.

Experience Required

• Previous experience working on projects worth £20,000 to £3 million (M&E value).
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and interpret drawings.
• Electrical qualifications such as NVQ, HNC are desirable but not essential.
• Experience as an electrician is essential.
• Experience managing sub-contractors and suppliers in a supervisory capacity is essential.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including with clients.
