Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Shift Technician for our London portfolio. You will perform routine maintenance on HV/LV distribution and HVAC systems, monitor BMS alarms, and respond to A/C issues for banking clients.

The role involves building rounds, meter readings, fault analysis, and reports, with on-call duties and 12-hour rotating shifts. You will work with Facilities Managers and client staff, ensuring safe practices and regulatory compliance while developing knowledge of

Qualifications

City & Guilds Electrical Competency Part 1 & 2 or equivalent.
Good building services knowledge.
Critical Environment Experience.
Good customer relationship skills.
Working knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
Understand and interpret technical drawings / processes.
Experience of CMMS and BMS systems.
17th Edition IEE Regulations.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks on HV/LV distribution systems and associated plant and HVAC.
Monitor BMS for running conditions and alarms.
Attend to air conditioning related client problems.
Take meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities during rounds.
Investigate faults, identify causes and remedies.
Prepare accurate / timely reports; ensure compliance with regs.
Assist with installation works as required.
Participate in emergency call-out roster, including weekends.
