A leading project services company in Longcross is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining built electrical systems, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance in a Data Centre environment.   • HVAC Experience is required.
  • BMS Knowledge is preferred.

  • Complete PPM and reactive maintenance of electrical systems.

Job description

Role : Electrical Shift Engineer

Shift Pattern : Shifts 12 hour basis.

Salary : Up to £51,500 per annum

Type : Permanent

Trevett Services are currently searching for Electrical Shift Engineers on a permanent basis, to work in a Data Centre environment, starting as soon as possible based in Longcross with one of the UK's leading Global commercial real estate services & investment companies.

Duties :

  • Complete PPM, reactive maintenance and keep all built electrical systems running.
  • React to BMS alarms and compete emergency repairs.
  • Installation and modification of site electrical services.
  • Fault finding and rectification of heating, ventilation and air conditioning issues.
  • Operation and trouble shooting of emergency lighting, BMS, AC System, VAV, Split Systems, AHU's, Generators, heating systems and HV Systems (training given).
  • Monitor Fire systems and alert supervisor on changes to status.
  • Check BMS alarm conditions and respond to HVAC related problems.

Requirements :

  • Former experience in a Building Services Critical environment.
  • City & Guilds qualification Level 3 Electrical / Maintenance.
  • 18th Edition IEE
  • HV Approved Person would be beneficial (Training is offered to be HVAP).
  • HVAC Experience.
  • BMS Knowledge.
  • Be able to present information clearly back to peers and management.
  • Experienced with working in a critical environment / data centre is ideal.
